6 things that are extremely important to us…

These are 6 things that shape every single thing that we do. We can look at our office interactions, every project we start, the businesses and organizations that allow us to speak into their work. In each case when we look at what we’re doing, they in some way reflect these 6 things that are extremely important to us.

Collaboration: We want to continually allow others to join the conversations we’re having, and we want to join you in yours. The best change happens when people are willing to work together to find solutions to complex problems.

Conversation: Take the time to listen to each other and to those in our community. We believe conversation leads to change. We aim to be available and open to conversation in hopes that it will make what we’re doing better, and help others as well.

Hard Work: Give it all you got. If you work hard, you can often accomplish a lot. Sometimes you fail, but we still believe that even in failure, the hard work is worth it.

Rhythms: Get into a sustainable rhythm of work and life. Without rhythm, life can be miserable. When healthy life and work rhythms are incorporated there is a calm and fulfillment that enable the work we want to do. When it’s out of whack, things fall apart on one side or the other.

Education: Never stop learning. You and I still have something more we can learn. Who can we learn from, and how can we implement what we learn? It’s our job to seek out those people and lessons that will enrich our own lives and those around us.

Problem Solving: Solve problems and enable others to do so also. The world can be changed when problem solving ideas are implemented and followed through on.

What’s important to you, and how do you let those things shape everything you pursue?
