This year at Plywood Presents, we had the opportunity to hear from Erin Levin. She was one of our finalists for our idea competition and ultimately won 3rd place overall in the competition. She is creating a documentary film about The African Children’s Choir. She told a powerful story of Angel (the girl in the picture above), who is in the choir and an incredible example of a child being lifted out of poverty and sharing her story and passion with the world. Erin has personally been forever impacted by this little girl and it is her passion to make this film and share it with the world. THe hope is for the documentary to be seen by over 1 million people. They are well into production and looking for generous people to contribute to her project. So, she has launched The 27 Campaign. She is trying to raise $27,000 by her 27th birthday (on September 13th). Please check out what she is doing and support her work, it will be a great film and is a great story to share with the world.
