ENTREPRENEUR IN RESIDENCE
Are you an entrepreneur with a world changing idea? Through the EIR experience you will be exposed to our Plywood community and connections while being equipped with the tools to build and sustain your business. EIRs offer support to the Plywood team by being a consistent presence at Plywood Place and helping create a collaborative culture within the Plywood Community.
What to expect.
Each Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) commits to a half day each week where they work with the Plywood Place team from 8 AM to 12:30 PM or 12:30 PM to 5:30 PM. EIR responsibilities vary day-to-day, but their main role is to ensure our members and guests have the best experience possible. This could include answering questions, helping members sign up, managing conference rooms, checking people in, making coffee, and maintaining a clean and workable environment. They will be in charge of the overall appearance and atmosphere on their designated day.
They will be able to spend any time outside of these duties on their own work at the front desk. On the other days of the week, they will have free use of the Plywood commuter areas. We ask for a 6 month commitment.
Benefits.
The Entrepreneur in Residence gets to exchange time for space and education. Instead of paying for a membership and Path by Plywood, EIRs commit to a one-day shift from 8 AM to 12:30PM or 12:30PM to 5:30PM. They can then use the communal spaces for free at their leisure during working hours on the other days of the week.

Hard-working entrepreneurs at various stages in their project’s development are able to consistently speak into each others’ ideas and provide much needed encouragement and feedback.
