Shinabarger

Jeff Shinabarger, Founder and Executive Director, Plywood People, is a social entrepreneur, the best-selling author of More or Less and Yes or No and creator of Path by Plywood, a six-week community driven, learning experience that challenges ideas and brings them into reality. Jeff has a vision to make Atlanta a center for social innovation, while personally engaging in over 240 problem solving start-ups.

His work has been featured by CNN, USA Weekend, Atlanta Journal Constitution, Huffington Post, Christianity Today, Coca-Cola, Relevant Magazine, and the Chicago Sun Times. He is the cofounder of Q and creatively led Catalyst for eight years. Jeff and his wife, André, live in East Atlanta Village and exploring how to raise a family while striving to change the world with their two kids, Jada and Neko. 

In a 2017 FORBES listed Jeff as a speaker to see and Dreaming to Doing: 6 Actions for Entrepreneurial Endeavors is just one of the popular keynotes that Jeff can give.

Bethaney Wilkinson

Fueled by the desire to see social change and racial equality, Bethaney co-founded the Atlanta Harvest in 2013, founded G.Race Dialogues in 2015, and joined Plywood People in 2017.

She has degrees in education, community building, and theology along with leading and designing Plywood People’s creative events, building partnerships, and leading multiple initiatives.

Jeff and Andre Shinabarger

They have been married for nearly 15 years and their primary desire is to stay in a committed relationship until their last days on earth. Andre is a Physician’s Assistant and has a gift of serving the underserved in our communities with medical attention and for the last 10 years has been serving in a neighborhood clinic through Grady Hospital. Jeff is a social entrepreneur, has written two books and is the founder of Plywood People, a non-profit in Atlanta that leads a community of start-ups doing good. They both have been given amazing opportunities to live out their purpose in society and gained incredible influence in real people’s lives along the journey. And they have two kids ages 4 and 7 - Neko and Jada.
